Canon lately released its 16 - 35 millimetre f/4 IS lens of the eye for full - form bodies . When I get the prospect to document the last leg of NYC ’s High Line parkland , I think it would be a great chance to bring along this newbie piece of glass and see how she did .
The 16 - 35 m f/4 is supremely designed and fun as hell to expend . The image stabilisation comes in ready to hand when you need to go just a little dense on the shutter f number , or when you are moving around a lot and do n’t have a here and now to break and be absolutely still .
The keenness is terrific across the frame , but one crotchet I did discover was that it seemed to wash out color as you move toward the edges . Look at the sky in my shots , the blue chromaticity fade and shift to magenta on the sides . Despite this , I would still urge the Canon 16 - 35 f/4 for anyone take a super - wide slant and special stabilization .
