Peeters is the author and illustrator of the autobiographic graphic novel Blue Pills , but here he turns his artistic talents to the macabre . His portraits cite the circumstances of his guinea pig ’ death , such as John Lennon ’s assassination and Bela Lugosi being swallow in a Dracula costume . The results are sometimes in refutable sense of taste , but offer a different view of figures usually recollect from iconic photographs and films .
