A loose DVD in a pocket saved a South Carolina man from accidental injury after he unwittingly got involved in a firearm affray outside a fast - food marijuana cigarette . blast chief Barry McRoy was leave behind the Waffle House restaurant at the weekend in the townsfolk of Walterboro when he got involved in a gun struggle between two men .
McRoy , a Fire and Rescue Director for Colleton County Fire Service , did n’t detect he had been shot until later , when he spotted a bullet gob in his jacket as he was giving a argument to police .
