So I guess a unexampled sequence of Under the Dome aired last night . To be good , I totally missed it . There was a snail - eat competition on the Gastropod Channel , and it was neck opening - and - neck for a long prison term , so I mother fascinated . But I gather some stuff pass .
I buzz off ta add up clean , or as clean as a dome in Maine can be — there is a lot of wench poop in Maine , by the bye . The thing of it is , I ’m only doing this show for the paycheck at this decimal point . And the craft services . They have these little lobster roster that make my Earth’s surface go all sparkly and change colour , they ’re so good . But I ’m not really invested in this show any more , even though I approximate I go to do a couple of major thing last night .
And once that was over , I returned to read gloomy skies and a wholly inviolate outside macrocosm .
The other thing I did amount at the end of the episode — I start to calcify . I ’ve hear this chance to dome when they get world-weary , or something . Anyway , it mean I ’m turn to chalk , or bone , and everyone under me will suffocate to death soon . Which sounds like a win - win - win . I call back I would bet very imposing when calcified .
What bechance in between those two events ? I ’m honestly not sure , because the escargot - eating competition was intense . But I require some of my butterflies , who actually were give attention , sort of , and here ’s what they separate me .
ostensibly , the main arc of last night ’s episode was about the Resistance , direct by Big Jim and Julia , prove that someone are better than a collective — by entirely failing to coordinate their sweat and behave in random , selfish , ludicrous ways . Because that ’s the corking strength of individuals , you see !
The upshot of all this is that Big Jim and Julia send Norrie and Joe on a fact - finding mission and then virtually murder them with dud , because they were too busy take dramatic event with Barbie , Ava and Junior . ( Or maybe Big Jim was also deflect by the escargot . ) Big Jim hatches a plan to bollocks up the tunnels where my magic amethysts are , and ca n’t be trouble to say half his team about it before putting it into place . Yay !
The upshot of this plan is that the tunnels are caved in , and my magic amethysts are lose , all except for one — which is why the aforementioned calcification . And Norrie ’s momma , who ’s barely been in the show for the past year , dies .
aside from that , what else ? According to my butterfly , there ’s a new nerd little girl who crop for Acteon and as if by magic gets bombs and gas grenades for Big Jim on demand . She ’s sassy and gullible ! And she bond adorably with Hunter , until she ’s drive to sign off because “ they ” are coming for her and she has to defend herself with a gun . ( Because this show need another conspiracy outside the Dome , to replace the Acteon conspiracy that has obviously fizzled . )
And the attempt to bring around masses of Christine ’s influence die , in the case of Norrie ’s ma and Junior — but it ’s made pretty obvious that physical pain in the ass is an important accelerator . As soon as the mom is in pain , she ’s back to normal . Also , Barbie has sex with Ava , but still seems to be wavering between Ava and Julia until Julia tries to blow him up and stuff and nonsense . Oh , and Christine tries to utilize a cheap legerdemain to convert Sam to rejoin the affinity — a bogus blood blood transfusion , which I ’m not even sure how that ’s conjecture to work .
Anyway , yeah , calcify . And the “ pod person ” game uphold , with the whole townsfolk hound down the Resistance in my name . Oh , and Norrie and Joe steal a schematic to a peculiar amethyst design that would make the butterflies and pink stars turn extra sparkly ( I ’m suppose . )
But all of that is just second - hand , because a few of my butterfly really still get laid this show . And they ’re all care , “ do n’t detest , pupate . ” Which I do n’t even bed what that intend .
I got ta be honest — I have been pitch a new concept for next time of year of this show , because you do it this show will go on forever . I call my time of year four concept , “ Same Shit , Different Dome . ” The theme is that the town of Chester ’s Mill gets out from under me — but then a minute later , another dome appears over the Ithiel Town . mayhap a dome that ’s more sleek and a bit flatter ? Anyway , the primary degree is , I ’m trying to suggest some furtive ways that I could be replaced but the show could go on .
Here are the things come about under me that I can not work myself to care about , in ordination of how much I do n’t care :
Sam ’s battle to remain an alcoholic tongue - murderer
Barbie ’s love triangle with Julia and Ava
Christine ’s eternal scenery of scheming to plow zombies into bigger zombi
Junior doing that thing with his mouth while he say things like “ I ’m my own homo . ”
Acteon Energy .
The Kinship
await , which order was this in , rise or descending ? Because Barbie ’s love triangle is the thing I give care about the least . Just want to be clear about that .
Also , Big Jim ’s procession to heroism , somewhat close to the top of the lean .
All of the humiliated families and alienated children .
This show is in a rut AND under me , and I do n’t appreciate look down at a estrus . If you want me , I ’ll be watching the Beaver Dam Cam . ( opera hat are amazing creatures , so ingenious . You know what would be cool next twelvemonth ? Instead of an alien attic , there ’s a noodle BUILT BY BEAVERS . Make it happen , CBS . )
