BeforeFelicity Huffmanwas indicted as part of a nationwide college admission cheating scandal, the actress was busy visiting college campuses with her daughter.
The 56-year-old actress shared a photo of her husband William H. Macy and their oldest daughter, 18-year-old Sofia Grace, visiting college campuses on December 13, 2017.
“Visiting colleges with our 17 year old. Makes me nostalgic… WHILE IT’S HAPPENING!” Huffman tweeted at the time.
Earlier that month, the Oscar nominee shared another photo from her college campus tout, with the caption: “Another college visit. Like the standards these young people are keeping.”
Huffman, along withFuller Houseactress Lori Loughlin and 48 other people, was accused of having taken part in the nationwide cheating scandal involving elite colleges and universities such as Yale, Georgetown, Stanford and the University of Southern California, PEOPLE confirms.

Federal court records unsealed Tuesday in Boston name 50 people who have been indicted as part of the nationwide scheme, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts.
Athletic coaches from Yale, Stanford, USC, Wake Forest and Georgetown, among others, are implicated, as well as parents and exam administrators, the release says.
Huffmanallegedly gave $15,000 “to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” the indictment states.

Loughlinallegedly gave $500,000 to say her child was part of the rowing team, when that was not true, the indictment states.
It also helped high school athletes get into top colleges no matter what their abilities, according to the indictment.
