Google has announced Calico , a new fellowship that will centre on wellness and well - being . But its ultimate purpose is to radically lead the human lifetime . As TIME put it , “ That would be unhinged — if it were n’t Google . ”
By set up Calico , Google CEO Larry Page skip to take on some of health maintenance ’s most pressing problems . And by virtue of doing so , the company hopes to be a major player — if not the major player — in the burgeoning efforts to slow down , or even halt , the aging operation in human being .
