Kailyn Lowrylit up her kids' holiday season with a special surprise.
The pregnant podcaster, 31, surprised her five sons with a beautiful black and gold Christmas tree, marking the first time she decorated for the holiday in five years. She shared the moment she revealed the tree to her three older sons in an Instagram video.
“Oh my god, it’s beautiful,” sonIsaac, 13, gasps as he walks into the room.
“Elijah said he wasn’t expecting this,” Lux, 6, says as he carefully touches the tree. Lincoln, 10, also walks up and takes a closer look at the tree.
“We haven’t celebrated Christmas in five or more years. Between years of fighting with my kids dads over holidays and my kids being fortunate with ‘things’ all year I gave up Christmas,” Lowry, who is also mom to Rio, 12 months, and Creed, 3, explained in the caption.
“Their dads have big families and lots of cousins, so it just feels like the best option. I guess things will look a little different this year✨.”

Writing “16 and Pregnant” as she looked back at moments from her life as a new mom featured on the show in 2010, she continued to share more photos of herself and Isaac throughout the years, coming in on the present day.
“OF COURSE WE DID 🩵,” she concluded.
In her caption on the post, she wrote, “It wasn’t easy but I wouldn’t change a thing 🫶🏼.”

On an episode of her podcastBarely Famouslast month, Lowry celebrated feeling like her “family is complete” after sharing news that she’sexpecting twins—a son and a daughter— with boyfriend Elijah Scott.
“I won’t have anything missing. I won’t feel like, ‘What if we had another one?’ I’m excited to explore this motherhood journey in terms of privacy and putting out what I want to put out. I’m excited for that,” she shared.
“I’m a little nervous about having four babies in one month. I don’t know what birthday parties are going to look like, but I’m excited to see how this goes. Isaac is going to be driving before I know it, so it’s just a bunch of milestones all at one time — lots of new beginnings and also closed chapters, I feel.”
