Kit HaringtonandRose Leslieare looking forward to their next chapter as husband and wife.
The actors famously met while starring as Jon Snow and Ygritte, respectively, on HBO’sGame of Thrones. Much to fans’ delight, their on-screen romance blossomed into real-life love, and theytied the knotin a romantic ceremony in Scotland last year.
But according to Harington, 32, they’ve tried to distance themselves from their fictional counterparts.
“That’s just a job we met on,” he continued. “And I think once … this show finishes, we get to kind of break free of it, a bit, and just be us, which is a really nice feeling.”

Harington and Leslie, 32, first stirred up relationship rumors in 2012. After a brief split, the couple reconciled and continued to fuel romance speculation until they officially confirmed they were dating in 2016.
Theygot engagedin September 2017,confirming the happy newsthe old-fashioned (and very British) way: through a classified advert inThe Times.
The former costars wed on June 23, 2018, at the Kirkton of Rayne church. Thestar-studded celebration— which included manyThronesstars as guests — continued with a reception at the bride’s family’s Wardhill Castle.

Harington previously opened up about the early days of their romance, revealing that sparks flew while on set in Iceland shooting season 2 — and admitting that those weeks were his favorite of the series.
“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said in a cover story for L’Uomo Vogue. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
