Just two days aftersnagging their sixth Lombardi Trophy, the New England Patriots celebrated with family, friends, and tens of thousands of cheering fans in a victory parade through the streets of Boston.
Star quarterbackTom Brady, wearing a black knit cap and a long-sleeve black t-shirt with a red number “6” on it — to signify his number of Super Bowl wins — had two of his kids in tow as he waved to fans who chanted “GOAT, GOAT, GOAT” (an acronym for “greatest of all time).

His supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, was not along for the ride.
Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman— who hoisted up one of the six Vince Lombardi trophies accompanying the team on the parade route — was greeted with “MVP” chants from the crowd.
The wide receiverspent Monday at Disney World, where he and Brady served as grand marshals of Mickey Mouse’s parade through the Magic Kingdom, went on the new Toy Story ride, and engaged in a lighthearted Jedi lightsaber battle.

Firing up the fans along the parade route was Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski, who danced almost non-stop and instead of chugging beers like he has in past victory parades, quenched his thirst with swigs from a bottle of wine. While the star tight end — who amid speculation about his impending retirement has not made an announcement — seemed to make the most of the experience.

He cuddled a stuffed goat adorned in a jersey with Brady’s number on it that someone threw to him, took off his own shirt and was bare-chested for a while before he put on a neon yellow Boston Police Department sleeveless vest.

The unseasonably warm weather added to the festive atmosphere.
Nick Paola of Providence told PEOPLE at the festivities that he wouldn’t have missed the parade for “anything in the world.”

“I was up early to catch a train here, but it was so worth it to see Tom in person,” said Paola, 24, a corrections officer. “And this weather couldn’t be any better for this amazing celebration with Patriots nation.”
Paola, wearing a Brady jersey, said there was “never a doubt in my mind about the outcome of the Super Bowl.”
“IfTom Bradyis playing, that’s all I need to know,” he said. “That’s it.”
