CoComelonis taking its young fans on an exciting new adventure!

The popularNetflixanimated series for preschoolers is set to premiere a spinoff series next month calledCoComelon Lane. In a big development, the show will feature characters JJ and best friends Cody, CeCe, Nina, Nico and Bella speaking to the audience directly for the first time.

Using music, learning and humor, the nine-episode, narrative-based series will see the children tackle new experiences and milestones such as getting their first haircut and making a special meal with their grandfather.

Each episode will follow the same structure, with the preschoolers encountering a big moment — and a big emotion that comes with it. Then JJ and his friends will engage in a “pretend paint” sequence.

“They’ll imagine the scenario of the BIG moment together while JJ ‘paints’ what they imagine,” Netflix teased in a release.
