Three people were injured at Disneyland on Monday morning after a light pole fell,CNNreports.
CBS Newsreports the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. PT shortly after the park opened for the day at 8 a.m. According to the outlet, Disneyland employees were seen directing guests away from the fallen lamp post while it was being repaired. The area was reportedly closed off to the public for most of the morning.
PEOPLE’s requests for comment from Disneyland and the Anaheim Fire and Rescue Department were not immediately returned.
Prior to the incident, theNational Weather Serviceissued a wind advisory in Orange County coastal areas in effect until Tuesday morning. According to the notice, wind gusts could reach up to 25 miles per hour and potentially “blow around unsecured objects,” including tree limbs.

In April, Disneyland parkgoers witnessed another terrifying event when a45-foot animatronic dragon burst into flamesduring a show. The figure, known as Maleficent fromSleeping Beauty, was seen breathing fire during the performance before it unexpectedly became engulfed in flames.
“During the final showing of Fantasmic at Disneyland park on Saturday evening, the dragon prop caught fire,” the resort said in astatement. “Anaheim Fire & Rescue quickly responded, and the fire was extinguished.”

The statement added that fire effects would be “temporarily suspended” in select shows “out of an abundance of caution."
