Taylor Swiftmight have to start making bigger batches of herpop tarts.
Kansas City Chiefs head coachAndy Reidrevealed the star “makes a mean pop tart” — even if he hasn’t tried them for himself. “As good a singer as she is and entertainer, she’s also a really good cook,” Reid said onThe Rich Eisen Showon Thursday.
Reid, who first talked aboutSwift’s baking earlier in March, explained that she brought her desserts for the offensive linemen (which includes Swift’s boyfriend,Travis Kelce) during the season.
“She just doesn’t share it with me, she shares it with all the linemen,” he said lightheartedly to Eisen. “And I’m telling her, ‘You gotta give a little to the coach.’”
Now Kelce — who wasspotted dancing in Singaporeat Swift’s Eras Tour performance — is making sure that happens. “😂😂😂 We gotta save some for coach!!” Kelce commented on an Instagram clip of the interview.

Reid emphasized the “Karma” singer’s “smart” choice to treat the linemen first in a previousinterviewwith Mike Florio and Chris Simms at the NFL Scouting Combine.
“Kind of behind-the-scenes, she, to fit in — she didn’t even know she was doing this, I don’t think — she likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts,” said Reid . “So it was over. She knew right where to go.”
Eisen asked if the baked goods' filling was “Chief’s red,” and Reid replied, “She doesn’t miss much so I’m sure it probably was.”
The official Pop-Tarts company heard about Swift’s recreation and called on her to “release” the recipe. The toaster-pastry brand shared an Instagram post recreating Swift’sEras Tourposter — and included a call to action in the caption.
“To KC’s most famous fan, we heard there’s a Pop-Tarts pastry (Your Version) and in its honor, we’re donating to@harvesters, a local Feeding America partner food bank,” it read. “But if you#releasetherecipe, we’ll double our donation 🫶🫶.”
This isn’t the onlybaked good Swifthas shared with the Chiefs during the football season. While onAudacy’s AM 560 Sports WQAMin December, former NFL player Bernie Kosar said Swift brought Kelcehomemade cinnamon rolls before one of his games.
