Bonnie Wrightmay not be married to Harry Potter in real life, but her relationship with husband Andrew Lococo is just as magical.
TheHarry Potteractresstied the knot with Lococoon March 19, 2022, and the couple have sincewelcomed their first child together, Elio Ocean Wright Lococo. After their son’s birth, Wrightannounced the news on Instagramand thanked Lococo for his support during her pregnancy.
“Lastly thanks to Andrew my rock throughout birth quite literally as I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered,” she wrote. “Elio has the most tender loving papa.”
Wright and Lococo keep their lives relatively private, but the actress has shared glimpses of their relationship on her Instagram and YouTube channel. The couple are also passionate about saving the environment and are outspoken about their fight against climate change.
For his birthday in 2022, Wrightposted a sweet carouselof her and Lococo on Instagram as they enjoyed a picnic in the canyons with their dog, Billy.
“happy birthday husband! billy and i love you so much,” she wrote in the caption. “first birthday of many at our new home in the canyons 🧡.”

“Georgia introduced Andrew and I and she officiated us and it was beautiful,” Wright said. “It was very poetic.”
They’ve been together since at least 2020

While it’s unclear exactly how long the two have been together, Wright started sharing lowkey pictures of the pair toward the end of 2020. Inone post from September 2020, Lococo looked at Wright’s dog, and the actress jokingly captioned the post, “they have their own language.”
She wished him a happy birthday for the first time in November 2020 withanother subtle postof Lococo with her dog, writing, “♥️ happy birthday andrew ♥️."

Though Wright was based in Los Angeles for a while, she decided to make the move to San Diego, where Lococo lived, in early 2022. She shared more about her decision in aYouTube video, explaining that though Lococo was planning on moving to Los Angeles, her landlord decided to list her home and she thought it was time to move in together.
“I didn’t want to live there forever, I had a beautiful two years living there,” she explained. “Andrew and I have been going back and forth between these two cities for a long time so we were ready to live in the same place so this is Andrew’s house which is now our house.”
She added that the house is nearly a century old and that Lococo had lived there for a decade.
They got married in California

A few months later, Wright and Lococotied the knotat The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, California on March 19, 2022.
The pair kept their wedding simple and personal, making handmade decorations where they could and enlisting the help of their friends.
“As sustainably conscious people, we really didn’t fill the day with things and items we didn’t need, but we still made things look bountiful and generous. I designed our bar and dinner menu,” she toldBrides.“My brother Lewis did all the handwritten calligraphy signage for the name places. Andrew built four beautiful wooden daybed-style couches for the lounging areas. We still have them in our garden.”
A year after their wedding, Wright said, looking back, there’s nothing she would have done differently.
“Our vision was to make it both a celebration of love and community,” said Wright. “We wanted it to be intimate [and] people to feel present and relaxed.”
They welcomed their first child in September 2023
Wright first announced the happy news thatshe was expectingon Instagram a little over a year after her and Lococo’s first anniversary.
A few months later, their first child, a boy named Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, was born on Sept. 19, 2023.
“Say hello to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo 🩵 born at home on Tuesday 19th September,” she wrote onInstagramannouncing her son’s birth. “We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun 🌞! So grateful for our birth team that have held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding. Birth is the wildest experience!”
Wright and Lococo are both passionate about the environment

After herHarry Potterdays, Wright took a step away from acting and has more recently been focused on her passion for protecting the environment — and Lococo has been alongside her for the journey.
Wright often posts photos of the twoenjoying hikes together, especially with their dogs, andsurfingwhile picnicking on the beach.
